Trip to Weston Super Mare

On Thursday 28th September Year 1 and 2 went on a fantastic trip to Weston Super Mare. Take a look at our photos to see what we got up to.



 We went paddling in the sea, some of us got a bit too wet!






 We worked together to build some amazing sand castles.


 Some of us had a game of bat and ball, it was quite tricky!


 After lunch we had a game of duck duck goose, lots of passers by stopped to enjoy our game!


Finally we ate our yummy ice creams.

Music Lessons in Year 2.

This term Year 2 will be having music lessons with Mr Rees on Thursday afternoons. We will be learning songs linked to our topic, 'The Great Fire of London', alongside some silly songs just for fun!  Mr Rees will be teaching us a range of techniques to improve our singing voices and we will be learning how to breathe whilst singing... a very important skill! Here are a few photos of us during our first lesson. You can see lots of smiles from all of us, we had a great time and can't wait to learn more. Mr Rees plays the guitar whilst the children sing and  we are hoping to learn some percussion instruments to play along with.  At the end of our block of lessons we hope to put on a performance for parents, so watch this space for more information!
