Blue Peter Presenters

In literacy we have started learning our non-fiction text. For this we have been writing instructions to Year 1, telling them how to make a papier mache planet. We made our own planets at the end of year 1 and they are displayed in our book corner, take a look next time you're in! 

We learnt the set of instructions using a text map. We then watched some episodes of Blue Peter to give us some handy tips on how to present. Some brave children used props to perform their instructions to the rest of the class. They worked really hard to speak fluently and with great expression. Well done Year 2!
