Autumn walks

In year 2 we have been enjoying watching the changing seasons. It's time to wrap up warm and enjoy this chilly autumn weather.


We have loved observing the leaves changing colour and falling to the ground, along with collecting conkers on our walks to school!

   We had a lovely autumn walk around our playground and here's what we saw.



We are hoping to collect some leaves and use them to inspire our artwork. Watch this space!

Welcome to Year 2

Our topic this term is 'Man on the Moon'. We are using the story The Man on the Moon as inspiration for our topic. We have already written our own stories based on it. Last week we had an amazing wow day where we learnt lots about the different planets, we made alien hats, dressed up as astronauts and made jelly. We even had a visit from our alien friend! Term 5 - Welcome back :)

Welcome back to Term 5. We have had a very exciting start immersing ourselves in our new topic 'Africa'.  We had a fantastic WOW day. We made a traditional African salad, rain makers from recycled materials, sunset silhouette artworks and we researched African animals. Here are some photos for you to enjoy.
